What will your marketing reporting cost?

Tell the calculator how many clients you report on, which platforms they use, and who builds and reads the reports. It prices every way of doing it side by side, from Data Studio on Google’s free connectors to the agency platforms, with the arithmetic shown for every number.

  • 13 routes compared
  • 15 platforms
  • Annual or monthly billing
  • Prices checked 13–14 October 2026

Who it’s for

Anyone choosing how to get marketing data into reports, and wanting the real monthly number before a sales call rather than after one.

Freelancers and consultants

A handful of clients, mostly on Meta and Google. The question is which connector is cheapest for your exact mix, and whether you need one at all.

Agencies

Ten, thirty or more clients, client logins and your own branding. See where per-client, per-account and flat-tier pricing cross over as the roster grows.

In-house marketing teams

One brand, many platforms, lots of people reading. Compare a connector plus Data Studio with BI tools, where every viewer may need a licence.

How it works

  1. Describe your setupHow many clients or brands, and how many people build and read the reports.
  2. Tick the platformsAnd how many accounts each client has on each one. GA4, Search Console, Google Ads and YouTube connect to Data Studio for free.
  3. Choose billingAnnual or monthly, white-label or client logins, and Data Studio Pro if you want it.
  4. Read the rankingEvery route with its plan, its monthly and yearly cost, how the number was worked out, and what it doesn’t include.

Three different things you can buy

The routes aren’t the same product at different prices. They sell different layers, which is why the totals range from nothing to four figures a month.

Connector

Moves the data

Windsor.ai, Coupler.io, Catchr, Supermetrics, Porter Metrics and Funnel.io bring Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Shopify and the rest into Data Studio, which can’t reach them on its own.

You, or someone on your team, build the reports.

Dashboard

Shows the data

Data Studio is free to build and free to view. Power BI and Tableau are licensed per user, and that includes the people who only read.

They need a connector for most marketing platforms.

Agency platform

Dashboard plus the workflow

AgencyAnalytics, DashThis, Databox and Whatagraph bundle integrations, templates, client logins, white-labelling and scheduled sends into one bill.

Less to build, and less control over the design.

How the numbers are worked out

What it does

  • Every price is read from the vendor’s own pricing page, and the date it was checked is shown under the results.
  • It lands each route on the plan your setup actually needs, including volume discounts, extra-account packs and per-client pricing.
  • It shows the arithmetic for every row, so you can check it against the vendor’s page.
  • Where a vendor doesn’t say how something is counted, it shows each possible reading as a range instead of picking one.

What it doesn’t do

  • Quote-only plans (enterprise tiers, Whatagraph past 50 credits) are flagged, not guessed.
  • Euro and dollar prices are shown as published, without currency conversion.
  • It prices software, not the time someone spends building and maintaining reports.
  • Several of these vendors changed their prices between late September and mid-October 2026, so check the vendor’s page before you buy.

Frequently asked questions

Is the calculator free to use?

Yes, completely, with no sign-up. Some vendor links in the results are affiliate links; the note under the results explains how that works.

Why does Data Studio on its own show $0?

Data Studio is free to build and free to view, and Google’s own connectors for GA4, Search Console, Google Ads and YouTube are free too. You only pay once you need data from platforms Google doesn’t connect to, such as Meta, LinkedIn or Shopify.

Why do some routes show a range?

Because the vendor’s pricing page can be read two ways. Supermetrics, for example, doesn’t say whether an extra ad account applies to one data source or to all of them, so the calculator shows both totals.

Why is Funnel.io listed as a starting price?

Funnel.io prices by usage credits and doesn’t publish how many each plan includes, so the calculator can show where its plans start but not where your setup would land.

Which route should I choose?

The cheapest route that covers every platform you report on is the right starting point. Then weigh what the price doesn’t show: who builds the reports, whether clients need their own login, and how much design control you want. The comparisons below go through those trade-offs in detail.
